Okay so its been a busy couple of weeks - what with family coming to town, me chauffeuring said family around town, taking my teenage niece to modeling gigs and castings (she just got signed to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, wahoo!) helping babysit my cute 2-year old nephew, going to the beach with mom and the kids, going swimming, having BBQ's, - its been hectic hectic hectic. I just wanted to send a shout out if anyone is still around in my bloggy corner of the world that yes, I am still alive, and will be back to posting more soon, (when I'm not busy baby proofing an apartment that has never been baby proofed, since my nephew gets into everything, haha). It's been an adventure with all this new energy and excitement in the apartment, that's for sure. But I wouldn't miss any of it :)I hope everyone else is having a grand summer. Before I go I wanted to post some things I'm grateful for (thanks to UKYankInOz for the idea). I normally do gratitude notes in my journal, but why not send some positive energy out to the blog world also methinks. And so without further ado:
I am grateful for my loving boyfriend Pete
I am grateful for my family visiting me here in L.A., and a wonderful family in general
I am grateful for the beautiful California sunshine and good weather
I am thankful for a nice place to live and good food to eat
I am grateful for laughter, smiles, music, and all the simple pleasures in life that make it all worthwhile.

Amy, nice to hear from you sis. Wow, the summer passes by fast. Yes, its been great to have family around in L.A. Indy has been wild and hyper, (as most 2-yr olds are) but its been really fun, and he makes us laugh loads. Good luck getting the kids ready for school, is this A's first year in Kindergarten? Love ya!

Yes, my own 2 year old has instilled a greater appriciation for peace and quite in me that I never knew existed. I'm so GRATEFUL for silence now days ;)
