I'm sorry for being M.I.A. in my posting lately, I've been a little distracted (but in a very good way distracted). Not sure if I mentioned this before, but one of my good friends (and former roommate) Stephanie had the once in a lifetime chance to interview THE Robert Pattinson from the upcoming fan frenzied film of "Twilight" last week in San Francisco. Yes, I was just as shocked when I heard the news of her latest work assignment, too (lucky gal!!). You see, Steph works for this great company called Common Sense Media that focuses on family oriented media in film, tv, and literature and so sometimes she gets these really amazing opportunities (hence the Rob interview).
Anyway, yesterday Steph and I were chatting about her whole Rob Pattinson experience, (bells & whistles and all, he was such a sweetie she says) and then I watched the video, and it was just fabulous! Nearly 3 minutes of heaven! I'm so proud of her. So I wanted to devote a post to her journalistic debut.

OK, I will have to watch the video. I have one question. Was he high.
Lol, I don't think so. She said he was really nice, she chatted with him before the interview. She asked how he liked San Francisco and he said he'd just flown in and was leaving soon, and she got the impression he was very tired running all around the world doing interviews nonstop. But no drugs, I just think if he looks tired its because he doesn't take a break.
When I saw the clip he reminded me of James Dean, messy hair, soulful eyes, kind of broody. But then James Dean always looked a little drugged out or drunk, too, lol.
Kristina: Ha. I already watched the video and I'm not sure.
So is Edward going to have a British accent, or does he know how to do an American one? I guess we'll see.
P.S. My word verification letters say "lancloit," which I think is a variant of the name Lancelot, which seems fitting.
he looks MUCH better in the pic on your blog than he does in any of the pics on kristina's blog!

I was gonna say he needs to comb his hair, UNTIL I saw that he is a hair raker like my sister Kat. He was raking fingers through it all during the autograph events. LOL! He is HOT, your friend WAS lucky!!
Thanks ladies for all the comments! I was just really proud of my friend because she searched long and hard to find a really good job, and then she finally found one, and now she's able to do these exciting things. I'm just really happy for her! She said that Rob was perfectly coherent but incredibly tired from traveling nonstop. And she said he was a really nice guy so I would feel bad giving him a bad wrap, lol.
And Rob is definitely a hair raker it looks like! LOL! BTW, did anyone see Twilight last night?

I have yet to see the movie and am debating whether or not I want to. I had mixed feelings about the books (loved #1, meh on #2, liked #3, wanted my $ back for #4) and I don't want the movie of the one book I really liked to destroy my illusion. My rabid fan friends raved about the movie, but my more down to earth friends said it was horrible. What do you think?
Ah Jess- thanks so much for "dedicating" your latest post to my exciting interview. It really is surreal that I got to meet Rob, esp. since Twilight fans are quite excited about him and I'm a bit of a fan myself. Poor guy does seem tired-- likey he's been running around a lot--When I saw the movie people screamed with glee when he came on screen-wahoo! Very fun times--thanks for watching and I miss u!
